Field trials were carried out in the Moscow region of Russia between 1975 and 2000 using various systems of fertilization in a rotation of annual grasses, winter rye/wheat, potato, and barley/spring wheat grown on derno-podzolic soil. When the average annual fertilizer application was 138, 263, 213 and 304 kg/ha N, P2O5, K2O in 2 mineral and 2 manure-mineral systems, respective yields of 5.5, 6.7, 6.4 and 7.2 t/ha were obtained.
