Character association and path analysis studies for seed yield and its component characters in winged bean Psophocarpus tetragonolobus (L.) DC



Legume Research 27(4): 260-264



A total of 36 accessions of winged bean were grown during kharif 2000 at Arabhavi, Karnataka, India. Character association analysis revealed that seed yield per plant had significant positive association with seed weight per pod, number of seeds, dry pod yield and dry pod number per plant and shelling percentage, but it had strong negative association with seed protein content.
