Characterization of virgin olive oils from Basilicata by using 1H NMR and SPME-GC-MS

Characterization of virgin olive oils from Basilicata by using 1H NMR and SPME-GC-MS

Rivista Italiana delle Sostanze Grasse 81(2): 86-89

Five samples of virgin olive oils (cv. Corleto Perticara) were analysed by using 1H NMR spectroscopy and SPME (solid-phase microextraction)-GC-MS. The fatty acids present in the oil samples include saturated (SFA) and monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA) and linoleic acid.
