Chemical composition and in vitro digestibility of bahiagrass (Paspalum notatum Flugge) regenerated from suspension culture

Bahia grass (cv. Pensacola; PEN) regenerated from 6-month-old suspension cultures were grown under field conditions and the aboveground portions were cut on 29 June 1994, and 28 June and 29 September 1995 for chemical analysis and digestibility experiments. The mean values of neutral detergent fibre (NDF) content were higher in regenerated plants (RP) than in PEN.
