Composition analysis and micro-morphological observation of log-cultivated fruitbodies of Phellinus igniarius

The micromorphology of the hymenium, basidiospore, conical seta and mycelia of log-cultivated P. igniarius was studied using the scanning electron microscope. Tender and mature fruit bodies of P. igniarius recorded 11.2 and 1.18% amino acid contents and 4.28 and 1.18% polysaccharide contents, respectively.
