Composition of monofloral pollen load

Composition of monofloral pollen load

Russian Agricultural Sciences 2005(10): 30-32

A study of monofloral pollen load was conducted using pollen collected from bee colonies during 1995-98. The 5 types of monofloral pollen load included: P1, from sour cherry and apple (orchard pollen); P2, dandelions (Taraxacum officinale); P3, cornflower (Centaurea cyanus); P4, alsike clover (Trifolium hybridum); and P5, fireweed (Chamaenerion angustifolium). One type of polyfloral pollen was identified (P6).
