Comprehensive evaluation of productive performances of lucerne varieties using grey relevancy coefficient method

Thirteen lucerne cultivars were sown in Lanzhou, Gansu, China at a row distance of 30 cm. The plant height, regeneration rate, fresh forage yield, branch number and leaf yield were taken as indices of their productive performance. The collected data were analysed with the grey relevancy coefficient method. The cultivars L33, L173, Xinjiang Daye, PL55 and Algongun showed higher yields than others.
