Concentration of free amino acids in mammary gland tumours in dogs

Concentration of free amino acids in mammary gland tumours in dogs

Medycyna Weterynaryjna 60(9): 937-941

The aim of the study was to determine the level of free amino acids in the serum and mammary gland tumour tissues of dogs. The study was performed on 24 dogs using the AAA-400 automatic amino acids analyser, interlinked with a computer. The results demonstrated a significant increase in the concentration of sulfate, acid, aromatic and branched amino acids in tumour tissues and high levels of sulfate and acid amino acids in serum.
