Experiments were carried out in 1998-2002, with grape Muscat Hamburg planted on an alkaline clay plot of land with a pH value of 8.4, salt content of 0.16% and underground water level of 0.6-0.8 m. Vines were spaced at 2 m x 0.33 m. Under good management in the 3rd year after planting, the production reached 18 t / hm2, and in the 5th year it reached 33.3 t / hm2.
