Development of high biomass forage crops tolerant to water stress by interspecific and intergeneric crossing

Development of high biomass forage crops tolerant to water stress by interspecific and intergeneric crossing

Research Highlights JIRCAS 2002: 50-51

An experiment was conducted in 2002 to evaluate the wild relatives of sugarcane collected in Thailand for high biomass and adaptability to the environmental conditions, and to produce new types of forage crops by interspecific and intergeneric hybridization among sugarcane and their wild relatives.
