Effect of GnRH and PGF2 alpha on reproductive performance and progesterone profile in postpartum true anoestrus and suboestrus surti buffaloes

Effect of GnRH and PGF2 alpha on reproductive performance and progesterone profile in postpartum true anoestrus and suboestrus surti buffaloes

Indian Journal of Dairy Science 57(5): 324-328

Eighteen Surti buffaloes of an organized farm identified as postpartum true anoestrus and suboestrus by 12th week postpartum were treated with single i/m injection of 5 ml Receptal (n=6 vs 4 control) and 5 ml Lutalyse (n=5 vs 3), respectively, on 15th week postpartum to see the oestrus induction response and conception rate including weekly evaluation of progesterone profile, 3 weeks before through 6 weeks after treatment, i.e. 12th to 20th week postpartum.
