Effect of NPK fertilizer on the development of Mulberry (Morus sp.) leaf spot disease and biochemical changes of infected leaf components

Annals of Forestry 12(1): 38-46

The effects of NPK fertilizer on leaf spot disease caused by Cercospora moricola in mulberry (Morus sp.) were studied. Application of NPK fertilizer decreased leaf infection by 23.43% and increased leaf yield by 13.92%. The application of balanced fertilizer (NPK) in the soil resulted in lower infection by leaf spot pathogen in comparison to imbalanced fertilizer application in the soil.
