Effect of different fertility levels on spectral characteristics, growth and yield of potato cv. Kufri Bahar

A field experiment was conducted with potato Kufri Bahar on a sandy loam soil in Pantnagar, Uttar Pradesh, India, during rabi 1998-99. The treatments consisted of 3 levels of N (75, 150 and 225 kg/ha) and P (50, 100 and 150 kg/ha). The general trend showed that under the treatment 225 kg N and 100 kg P2O5/ha the percentage blue reflectance value was minimum, and under the treatment 75 kg N and 50 kg P2O5/ha, it was maximum.
