A field experiment was conducted in Karnataka, India during the rainy seasons of 2000-2002 in Bijapur, Rajasthan, India to study the effects of fertilizer and biofertilizer on pearl millet (Pennisetum glaucum) ICTP 8203 under sole and intercropping systems. The fertilizer treatment comprised of application of 20, 40, 50 and 60 kg N/ha in combination with 15, 25, 30 and 40 kg P/ha, as well as of biofertilizers.
