Effect of methanolic extracts from susceptible and resistant rice varieties on Nilaparvata lugens (stal) (Homoptera: Delphacidae)

The effects of methanolic extracts of rice from resistant cultivar IR36 and susceptible cultivar TN1 were tested on two Nilaparvata lugens biotypes. The results showed that the extract from IR36 was very effective for the selectivity and mortality of N. lugens biotype II adults, while TN1 had a reverse effect on them.
