Effect of rice bran supplementation on feed intake and nutrient utilization in mithun (Bos frontalis)

The present study was undertaken to find out the effect of rice bran supplementation to green forage based diet on the feed intake and its utilization in mithun calves. Six mithun calves were distributed into two groups of three calves each. The calves in group I were fed natural grass ad libitum (T1), while the calves in group II were supplemented with 2.0 kg rice bran along with natural grass ad libitum (T2).
