Our objective was to determine if a 7-day, gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) + prostaglandin F2 alpha (PGF2 alpha ) protocol (Select Synch) was effective for synchronizing oestrus in replacement beef heifers compared with 2 traditionally used programmes.
