Effects of rootstock on mineral element content in the leaves and fruits of 'Vega' sweet cherry trees

The effects of rootstocks (Mazzard seedling, P-HL B, P-HL A and P-HL C) on the contents of N, P, K, Ca and Mg in the leaves and fruits of sweet cherry Vega were studied during 2000-02 in Poland. High rootstock growth vigour increased Ca and Mg contents in the leaves and fruits but decreased K content in the leaves.
