Experiments were carried out during 1996-2000 at the Lithuanian Institute of Agriculture's Joniskelis Experimental Station on a heavy loam soil (Endocalcari Endohypogleyic Cambisol) to investigate the effects of different fertilizer application systems - mineral, organic and organic-mineral - on the variation of soil agrochemical properties, crop yield, its quality, crop rotation productivity, and on the farm nutrient balance.
