Efficacy of imazethapyr - a selective herbicide in green gram with special reference to Parthenium hysterophorus control

A field investigation was conducted in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, during kharif 2001 and 2002 to determine the efficacy of varying doses (50, 75 and 100 g/ha) of imazethapyr at 2 modes of application (pre-emergence and post-emergence), compared with weedy control and manual weeding twice at 25 and 45 days after sowing, against associated weeds with special reference to P. hysterophorus control in green gram (K 851).
