Efficacy of mepiquat chloride as foliar application at three stages of groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.) cv M-335

A study was conducted in Punjab, India to investigate the effect of mepiquat chloride (MC) on the growth and vegetative parameters of groundnut M-335. MC was sprayed at 100 and 200 mg/ml during the vegetative, flowering and podding stages (25, 45 and 65 days after sowing, DAS, respectively).
