The Oestrus ovis fly is a parasite that, in its larval stages, lives in the nasal passages and paranasal sinuses of sheep and goats (cavitarial myiasis). This parasitosis is detected in the whole country. It reaches a prevalence of 92% in some regions. The purpose of this study was to compare the efficacy of ivermectin, doramectin and closantel in infested adult goats from San Luis, Argentina.
