Efficiency of cultivation of multi-component mixes for green fodder production

Cultivation of 16 mixed spring fodder crops was studied in Russia in 1996-2000. The crops studied were barley Nosovskii, oats Skakun, peas Talovets 60, vetch Lugovskaya and lupin Ladnyi, Kristall and Bryanskii. Plots were set up on grey forest medium loam soil. Data on productivity, digestible protein, energy, fodder unit yields, coefficient of energy efficiency and profit are tabulated.
