Evaluation of melon (Cucumis melo L.) cultivars in protected environment

Evaluation of melon (Cucumis melo L.) cultivars in protected environment

Pesquisa Agropecuaria Gaucha 8(1/2): 25-30

Five melon cultivars of different types were evaluated in protected environment under vertical training system, with fertilizer application and irrigation by dropping, during summer. The yield of the cultivars was similar, with significant differences in the number and weight of fruits. A negative correlation between fruit number and fruit weight was observed.
