Evaluation of resistance of the cryAb gene transgenic rice Kemingdao against rice bacterial leaf blight and sheath blight disease

The resistance of two cultivars of transgenic rice (Kemingdao 1 and Kemingdao 2) and the wild type cultivar, Xiushui II, to rice bacterial leaf blight and sheath blight was examined in a field experiment. Both Kemingdao 1 and Kemingdao 2 have been genetically engineered to carry the insect resistance gene cryAb.
