Food consumption pattern of the tribals of Meghalaya and its relation with socio-economic factors

The food consumption pattern of the Khasi tribals in 13 tribal villages in Ri-Bhoi, Meghalaya, India, and its relationship with socioeconomic status were investigated 1850 respondents were recruited into the study. Personal interviews were conducted to gather information on socioeconomic parameters, recall methods for dietary pattern, and food frequency questionnaires for food consumption pattern.
