Abstract
Peach cv. Aurora-1 scions were budded on to P. mume clones 10 and 15 and propagated by herbaceous cuttings. Herbaceous cuttings of Aurora-1 budded on to P. mume clones 10 and 15 were viable, with 58% indexes of tissue union and less than 7% rootstock mortality. Bud length was not affected by the rootstock clone used, although the diameter of the bud was larger when budding was carried out on P. mume clone 15.
