Gene typing of Orientia tsutsugamushi isolated strain from Heilongjiang by polymerase chain reaction

Gene typing of Orientia tsutsugamushi isolated strain from Heilongjiang by polymerase chain reaction

Chinese Journal of Zoonoses 19(6): 75-76

The gene type of isolated strains of Orientia tsutsugamushi from Heilongjiang, China, was analysed using polymerase chain reaction and compared with international reference strains. The MSAa9301, MSAa9303, MSAa9304 and MSAp9305 strains were classified into the Gilliam type, the MSAa9306 strain into the Karp type, and the MSAp9302 strain into the Kato type.
