The linkage between industry and education is basic to most agricultural teaching programmes as industry provides the framework for the information that is presented in class. Employers are seeking trained employees with problem-solving and decision-making experience and the ability to work in teams; the same abilities that we strive to teach with critical thinking and experiential learning exercises.
