ISSN/ISBN: 1581-162X

Results are given of a study on the extraction and chemical characterization of essential oils from the cones of Norway spruce (Picea abies), European larch (Larix decidua) and Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris). Various monoterpenes ( alpha -pinene, beta -pinene, myrcene, delta -3-carene and limonene) have been identified and their relative concentrations calculated by means of gas chromatography.
