Linking climate change predictions with crop simulation models

Linking climate change predictions with crop simulation models

The BCPC International Congress: Crop Science and Technology, Volumes 1 and 2 Proceedings of an international congress held at the SECC, Glasgow, Scotland, UK, 10-12 November 2003: 1181-1188

Assessment of the effects of climate change on crop yields is based on two integral parts: (1) crop simulation models, and (2) climate change scenarios. Crop simulation models are used for analysing the causes of yield variations in response to climate and environmental variability and operate on a spatial scale of one kilometre and with daily time steps.
