Mathematical planning in experiments on 'soil-fertilizer-yield' interactions



International Agrophysics 18(1): 31-38



The objective of the study was to show the possibility and feasibility of the application of mathematical planning for the determination of the optimum structural parameters and bulk density of the root layer of industrial crops in relation to nutrient supply and other factors. The optimal structural parameters and bulk density were determined for the sowing layers of a typical heavy loam of chernozem type (Haplic Chernozem). The study area was located in the Kharkiv region, Ukraine.
