Notes on two species of hyperparasitoids (Hymenoptera: Aphelinidae) of Hemiberlesia pitysophila (Homoptera: Diaspididae)

Marietta carnesi and Ablerus perspeciosus are hyperparasitoids of scale insects and Coccobius azumai. The morphology of these hyperparasitoids are redescribed, and the efficacy of both species for the biological control of H. pitysophila is briefly described.
