Persistance and decontamination of endosulfan, carbaryl and fenvalerate in brinjal (Solanum melongena)

Aubergine Shyamala plants were sprayed with endosulfan, carbaryl and fenvalerate at 350, 750 and 100 g a.i./ha, respectively in a field experiment conducted in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India during the kharif season of 1999-2000. Endosulfan and carbaryl dissipated to below detectable levels 15 days after the third spraying however, 0.03 mg fenvalerate/kg residues were recorded on fruits.
