Production and composition of milk of cows of four genetic groups submitted to two feeding managements during the lactation period

Production and composition of milk of cows of four genetic groups submitted to two feeding managements during the lactation period

Revista Brasileira de Zootecnia 33(3): 610-622

The objective of this study was to evaluate the production and composition of milk of beef cows of four genetic groups (Charolais (C), Nellore (N), and CN crossbreds daughters of C bulls, NC crossbreds and N bulls) maintained in native pasture and submitted to different managements during pre-weaning (supplemented with rice bran (0.7% of the body weight) and weaned at 42 or 63 days postpartum, or non-supplemented and weaned at 63 days).
