Reaction of potato varieties to late blight (Phytophthora infestans) in season with low pathogen infection pressure

Progress in Plant Protection 44(2): 679-682

The resistance of potato cultivars to late blight can be utilized to lower fungicide rates used for plant protection against this disease. During the 2003 growing season, at Plant Breeding and Acclimatization Institute in Bonin, Poland, 40 local cultivars were tested for foliar resistance against late blight in an international field trial network.
