Response supplemental inorganics for seed vigour compensation in blackgram (Vigna mungo (L) Hepper) cv. T9

Seeds of varying vigour levels of black gram T9, stored in gunny bags for 6 months (with mean relative humidity (RH) of 70.8+or-3.4% and temperature of 31.6+or-2.9 degrees C), desigated as medium-vigour; and for 9 months (with mean RH of 72.3+or-2.8% and temperature of 30.7+or-1.7 degrees C), designated as low vigour, were compared with harvest-fresh high-vigour seeds. The crop was raised during rabi 2001 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India.
