Rhizoctonia solani Kuhn anastomosis groups identification of strains isolated from tomato crops at the V Region of Chile

Rhizoctonia solani Kuhn anastomosis groups identification of strains isolated from tomato crops at the V Region of Chile

Boletin Micologico 18: 47-51

An experiment was conducted to determine the existing Rhizoctonia solani anastomosis groups and their characteristics in the V region of Chile. The presence of anastomosis groups AG-4 and AG-2-1 was determined in the isolated strains, 4 of which prevailed in the anastomosis group 4. All the isolated strains were virulent, wherein AG-4 strain 618 was the most virulent and AG-2-1 strain 509V was the least virulent.
