Risk factors for the recurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma after radiofrequency ablation of hepatocellular carcinoma in patients with hepatitis C

Risk factors for the recurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma after radiofrequency ablation of hepatocellular carcinoma in patients with hepatitis C

World Journal of Gastroenterology 11(14): 2174-2178

Aim: To analyse the risk factors for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) recurrence after radiofrequency ablation (RFA) treatment in patients with hepatitis C. Methods: 26 patients who were diagnosed with HCV-associated HCC at the Mie University Hospital, Japan, during January 2001-October 2003, and followed-up for more than 12 months were studied.
