Serological monitoring of the efficacy of chicken vaccination against infectious bursal disease virus

Serological monitoring of the efficacy of chicken vaccination against infectious bursal disease virus

Veterinarija ir Zootechnika (30): 5-8

Four broiler breeder flocks were observed at 1-day-old to 60-week-old to determine the antibodies to infectious bursal disease virus. Infectious bursal disease virus was determined by ELISA. High levels of antibody titres (higher than 7 group titre) were established in the blood sera of the first and second broiler breeder flocks with average titres from 7308 to 9478 and coefficient of variation from 17.3 to 36.9%.
