Genetic diversity among 17 genotypes of A. marmelos was analysed using Mahalanobis' D2 technique. Significant genetic diversity was observed among the genotypes, which were grouped into 3 different clusters. The clustering pattern of the genotypes was random and did not follow the geographical origin. Ascorbic acid content, fruit weight, fruit length, number of seeds per fruit, weight of seeds per fruit, fibre content and petiole length had the greatest contribution to genetic divergence.
