Studies on intercropping greengram in summer sesame, Sesamum indicum L

An experiment was conducted during summer 1998 at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India to study the effect of plant geometry and introduction of a short-season green gram as an intercrop without sacrificing the base crop (summer sesame) population to obtain additional yield advantage under irrigation condition. Recommended practices were adopted to raise the crops.
