Study on the physiological and biochemical characters of insect-resistant transgenic cotton harbouring double-gene

Cotton Science 15(3): 131-137

Field experiments were carried out in Henan in 2001-02 to study the physiological and biochemical characteristics of insect-resistant transgenic cotton varieties harbouring the double gene combination Bt and CpTI. Four varieties of cotton, Zhongmiansuo 41, Zhongmiansuo 23, sGK321, and Shiyuan 321 were used in the experiment. Samples were taken from each variety at a number of stages during development.
