The Far-Eastern nematode Anguillicola crassus - new parasite of the invasive round goby, Neogobius melanostomus, in the Baltic Sea

Vestnik Zoologii 38(2): 38

229 N. melanostomus specimens caught in the Gulf of Gdansk, near Hel and Puck, Ukraine were examined. A. crassus in the 3rd larval stage were found incysted in the internal organs of 6.6% of the N. melanostomus (intensity, 1-4/fish; abundance, 0.1).
