The micropropagation of Phillyrea angustifolia L



Italus Hortus 10(1): 3-8



Shoot tips of P. angustifolia were cultured in culture medium supplied with QL macroelements and MS microelements, as well as myoinositol, thiamine, HCL, FeNaEDTA, zeatin, gibberellic acid and sucrose. Shoot proliferation in such culture medium was satisfactory. A slight decrease in shoot proliferation was observed when zeatin and benzyladenine at 2 mg/litres each were supplied to the culture media.
