The occurrence of genetic resistance and susceptibility to the new potato virus SB-29 among tetraploid potato (Solanum tuberosum L., 2n=4x=48 AAAA) populations in an arid agroecosystem

The occurrence of genetic resistance and susceptibility to the new potato virus SB-29 among tetraploid potato (Solanum tuberosum L., 2n=4x=48 AAAA) populations in an arid agroecosystem

IDESIA 21(1): 9-22

The incidence of viral diseases in potato genotypes in coastal arid plains in Peru, including 130 hybrid seedlings, and 200 clones and cultivars, was studied. The resistance of these genotypes to viral diseases was also evaluated using Russelliana solanicola as vector for plant infection under field conditions.
