Transition for EU accession: the case of Malta's restructuring tourism and transport sectors

Tourism and transition: governance, transformation and development: 119-132

The relationships between tourism, transport and Malta's approach to EU membership are examined. There is a strong relationship between tourism and transport and it is evident that tourism would benefit from stricter EU regulations in the transport and environment sector to ensure improved service and overall improved tourism product.
