An improved method of seed health testing for detecting the lurked seed-borne fungi of fenugreek

An improved method of seed health testing was developed to detect concealed pathogens on fenugreek that coexist in low percentages. Blotting papers were soaked in solutions of 0.3 M NaOH and 0.2 M KOH, respectively instead of tap water, which was used in standard blotter and deep freezing methods. A total of 32 samples of fenugreek seed collected from an Egyptian commercial market were examined.
