Biodiversity of Gnaphosid spiders of Triticum vulgare from District Okara, Punjab, Pakistan

Various aspects about the ecology of Gnaphosid spiders, including the burrow construction, surface activities, seasonal activities, species diversity, species richness and relative abundance, were investigated during November 2001-April 2002 in a wheat field in Okara, Punjab, Pakistan. Sixteen species belonging to following genera Callilepis, Drassodes, Gnaphosa, Poecilochroa, Scotophaeus, Zelotes, Geodrassus and Micaria were recorded during the present study.
