Detection of Lily symptomless virus and Lily mottle virus by multiplex RT-PCR

Detection of Lily symptomless virus and Lily mottle virus by multiplex RT-PCR

Acta Horticulturae Sinica 32(2): 284-287

Lily symptomless virus (LSV) and Lily mottle virus (LMoV) were detected using PCR and 2 sets of specific primers. A multiplex PCR method that can simultaneously detect the lily viruses at the same time was developed. The results revealed specific bands for LSV and LMoV (662 and 876 bp, respectively). The 2 viruses were detected were detected from dilutions of 104 by multiplex RT-PCR and RT-PCR, respectively.
